I've played in local bands since I was nineteen and usually found that by the time we were ready to gig, it wouldn't be long until we split up for various reasons. Somehow 'The Mighty Flipper' has just kept on going? Not really sure why? Perhaps it's because we've all come from simular situations of being in bands that were prehaps taking things a bit too seriously, so we now just concentrate on having a laugh. Saying that I have also started up another band based in Cardiff called 'Mr Scanno' to play my original stuff so I think I now have a really good balance.

Most Influential Bands

Probably got to be Blur or The Kinks. I love the energy they bring to things. I would also have to say that Crowded House rates fairly highly with me. I've seen them live a few times and the stage presence they have is unbelievable. However, I have noticed their crowd has aged a lot lately compared to the first time I saw them... maybe I've aged a bit too?...
