Tell us about yourself

I started playing classical guitar at the age of 10 and by the age of 17, I had played in local jazz, folk and rock bands.  A short spell at Nottingham Trent University stopped my band activities and dreams of rock n role stardom in following a career in surveying, but my nights at Nottingham's Rock City kept alive my lust for band life.
 
Whilst working at a firm of quantity surveyors in Gloucester, I met Nick AKA Nick the Sticks.  We both shared the same interest in music and surveying mmmmm.  Nick later persuaded me to be a stand in guitarist for his band Ceiling People.  I dusted off my guitar and jumped in.  It was fun and I liked it.
 
Nick later asked if I would like to be part of a new covers band and the beginnings of The Mighty Flipper evolved.  We have kept the band alive by keeping the spirit and music fun.

Most Influential Bands

My brother's Jethro Tull, Super Tramp, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath early White Snake, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix and Yes LPs, my own Queen, Status Quo, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Brian Adams and other classic 80's acts.  Rock on.
